A Summer Outdoors

Our summer programming uses a method that delivers important education and skill building through play, imagination, and exploration. We teach children the way they're supposed to learn: through experience and joy.

Locations

Marsh Sanctuary is the perfect combination of forest and field, creating awesome opportunities for education and adventure. We run at least one session of nearly all of our programs at this wonderful flagship locale.

Croton Point Park is the ideal space to experience the beauty of the Hudson River and the accessibility of a state park. It's a favored space for our Wildlings, Wild Ones, WHG, Nature Club and Wild Summer.

Brinton Brook Sanctuary has dense woods that give way to hidden creeks filled with frogs and turtles, with large stones and winding paths waiting to be discovered. It is the location of one of two Forest Preschool Locations.

Rhinoceros Creek is a sloping, wooded hillside park is where we run our weekend Archery programs. It's idyllic, and an enclosed gazebo allows for sessions regardless of rain or shine.

Come Learn With Us...

The Rewilding School exists with one goal in mind--to create exciting and informative nature experiences for every individual that attends our programs. We're a small, co-op run business that believes that everyone should be outdoors, learning and growing, as much as they can. And that mission starts the moment a child is born.

Our programs cover a variety of age groups, from early walkers all the way to our adult programs. We teach nature skills like fire making and shelter building, nature literacy, foraging, safety, and most importantly joy and inquiry--the cornerstones to any education.

You'll interact with our expert naturalists and educators in every program, and leave each session with a better understanding of the world than you came in with. We approach every season with fresh vision, trying new programs, new tactics, and the same goal of furthering stewardship and engagement with the natural world.

School Age

We offer a range of exciting programming for students looking for after school and weekend activities that excite them. Our approach blends education and adventure as we play and learn together in the forests.

Preschool

There's no such thing as to young to be outdoors! We aim to instill passion and confidence in our little ones as soon as they start walking, and the wonder and joy of the natural world grows alongside them from the start.
