The perfect after-school program for preschool-aged children to explore and enjoy nature crafts in the woods of Marsh Sanctuary in Mt. Kisco.
Whether you're signed up for a preschool this Fall or simply want to introduce your child to nature play in a guided environment, our Forest PlayGroup is the perfect opportunity to get outside, playing and building a community with likeminded families. Our newest pre-k program is designed to supplement standard preschool options in Westchester, providing a natural footnote to the end of the school day.
This program is designed to work alongside UPK or other preschool options, but any child age 3-5 is welcome.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Registration is non-refundable.
Family Attending: Parents may stay on site with their child for playgroup or they may drop off their child for the class.
Class Capacity: Each day we have a capacity limit of 10 kids on site with 2 teachers. We typically need at least 3 children registered per day for the program to run. If a day falls below this number, we may need to cancel or reschedule you to a larger class day. We’ll notify you as soon as possible!
Potty Policy: We highly recommend that children be potty trained for this program. Our staff do not change diapers. If a child is not yet potty trained, a parent or caregiver must remain on site for the duration of the program.
Packing List Before the start of the program, we send an email to all participants with the packing list and arrival instructions.
Weather Safety Class will occur in sunny or rainy weather. Class is cancelled only due to dangerous weather (temps below 20 F, lightning, high winds) or health concerns. Please click here for our weather policies and more.
