Looking for family-friendly activities in Westchester? Join us for Wild Saturdays—monthly hands-on, seasonal programs designed for families with young children. Each session features a new theme, from colorful fall hikes and fairy house building to winter animal tracking, all led by Rewilding School educators.

These 90-minute outdoor programs combine exploration, playful learning, and nature-based crafts or games to spark curiosity and deepen kids’ connection to the natural world. Perfect for families to enjoy together

​Dec 13, Feb 7 - Animal Tracking
In the dead of Winter, it can be hard to find exciting things to do outside. And yet, the forests are full of life to be discovered. Our educators help the kids to spot and identify tracks, follow them, and learn about how our local wildlife survives in the cold of winter.​

​March 7 - Maple Tapping
Tap into nature’s sweetness! Join us for a hands-on adventure in maple tapping — from tree to syrup, it’s a sticky, sweet way to explore the forest.

​April 4 - Bird Nest Construction
Spring is here, and our feathered friends are busy building their nests! Join Rewilding School teachers to learn what local birds are up to this season and create your own cozy, nature-inspired bird nest to take home.
