Wild Saturdays coming up at Gouveia Park in Croton on Hudson.

Join us one Saturday each month for hands-on, seasonal programs designed for families with young children. Each Wild Saturday features a new theme, from colorful hikes and fairy house building to winter animal tracking, all led by our Rewilding School educators.

These 90-minute sessions blend outdoor exploration, playful learning, and nature-based crafts or games to spark curiosity and deepen kids' connection to the natural world. Perfect for families with kids ages 2–7. Grown-ups attend for free and stay to share in the fun!

Registration is required for entry.

Oct 11 - Color Hike

Enjoy the many colors of the season with a special color hike for families this fall! Filled with matching games, nature exploration and a special lesson on the science of color, this is a great outdoor experience for adventures of all experience levels.

Nov 15 - Fairy House Construction

Imagination runs deep in the roots of trees and children alike. Join Rewilding School teachers and transform the ground of Gouveia Park into a woodland fantasy village. This is a class for the whole family.

Dec 13 - Animal Tracking

In the dead of Winter, it can be hard to find exciting things to do outside. And yet, the forests are full of life to be discovered. Our educators help the kids to spot and identify tracks, follow them, and learn about how our local wildlife survives in the cold of winter.
